QuickBooks with the CQI Connection
This help section is designed to assist in the setup, daily synchronization, and routine activities of chamber employees who use the software interfaced with QuickBooks using the CQI Connection.
Some of our original installations may have the CQI (ChamberMaster QuickBooks Interface) connection to QuickBooks. However, many of our new customers that use QuickBooks often use the integrated billing solution but choose to export to QuickBooks. The export option also supports Peachtree and other programs that accept .CSV files.

“Getting Started” provides chamber employees with a broad overview of how QuickBooks will interface with ChamberMaster or MemberZone. It also provides a foundation for understanding the details of the setup procedures, when and who should perform the steps, and a short procedure to test the connectivity of an existing setup.

The next three sections detail the one-time setup steps necessary to initially setup the connection. This includes identifying and/or installing a computer with the QuickBooks software, installing the ChamberMaster-QuickBooks Interface (CQI) software, and using the appropriate menu selections, and the process of matching and/or creating QuickBooks customers with the member records.

The last eight sections provide instruction in the routine use of the CQI interface including an overview of the day-to-day routine and routine synchronization of the member records between the software and QuickBooks which maintains integrity of the two databases. Instruction is also provided on how to generate various invoices. Managing your fees and dues and additional menu selections completes this section.
