Why does my saved custom report have different results each time I pull it up?
Nothing is wrong; this is happening by design.
When creating a report within the Custom Member Report or Custom Representative Report selection, using the Save Current Report As: choice retains the field selections, sort order, filters, criteria and format options. However, the data in the report will be pulled fresh from the database every time the report is accessed.
Saving a report like this allows a standard report to be run on a regular basis without redesigning the “look and feel” each time. For instance, saving a report that lists all members that have full-time employees greater than 100 would generate a current list of members that meet that criteria each time that report is generated. But having this in a saved format relieves you from having to develop the criteria statement that pulls these matching records each time.
If you desire to “save” the data, you must print the report, copy and paste the resulting report to another file or click Download Report.
